How to Survive a Michigan Winter

Description: Is this your first time experiencing a cold winter and snow?  Or, maybe this is not your first winter in Michigan, but you would still like to hear from locals on how to be more comfortable during the winter months.  In this session, we will give you some tips on how to survive a Michigan winter, including what to wear, how to be safe getting around Ann Arbor, what activities you can do, and more!

Winter drinks and snacks will be provided.

Description: Need a break from studying for final exams? Join us for a winter-themed guided paint session at North Quad, Space 2435! All art supplies and canvases will be provided, and no experience is necessary. Food and beverages will be provided as well! Registration is required to attend.

This event will be facilitated by the International Center and is designed for new international students. We will be joined by a representative from Beyond the Diag, U-M’s Off Campus Housing program within the Dean of Students Office, and a Housing Attorney from Student Legal Services. Please bring any questions you may have!
