SSD Identities Abroad

Description: Identities Abroad is a series of student panels, focusing on how social identities shaped/impacted their experiences working, traveling or studying abroad. Come to prepare for your own experience abroad, and meet peers who can assist you in the journey. There will also be representatives from the International Center and Center for Global and Intercultural Studies at the events if you have questions about going abroad.

Queer Students Panel

Queer students will share their experiences living, traveling and/or working abroad. Learn about how their identities impacted their experience, as well as helpful resources to plan your own experience abroad.

Event is in partnership with the International Center, the Spectrum Center, and the Center for Global and Intercultural Studies (CGIS).

Students with disabilities will share their experiences living, traveling and/or working abroad. Learn about how their identities impacted their experience, as well as helpful resources to plan your own experience abroad.

Mobility International, a disability-led non-profit organization whose mission it is to empower people with disabilities to achieve their human rights through international exchange and international development, will also be part of the event.

Event is in partnership with the International Center, Office of Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD), and the Center for Global and Intercultural Studies (CGIS).
