Jeremiah joined the International Center in 2017 after previously working in Admissions for the University of Michigan's Ross School of Bussiness. He proudly graduated from the University of Michigan in 2016 with a degree in Education.
Jeremiah has traveled abroad numerous times, his favorite international city by far is Florence, Italy.
Monica joined the ISSA team in September 2016 and is an alumna of the University of Michigan. She returns to Michigan after working in business immigration law firm environments for approximately 8 years in Chicago and New York. She is enjoying the opportunity to help international students and scholars at her alma mater.
Monica is originally from Michigan and in her spare time enjoys traveling, photography, cooking and being a foodie.
Katherine joined the International Center in 2015 as an Immigration Assistant. She studied abroad to Japan in high school and college. Following graduation she worked in Korea as an ESL instructor while pursuing her Masters in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education.
Katherine was born and raised in Michigan. She especially enjoys trips up north, skiing, backpacking and hiking.
John has been an International Student & Scholar Advisor at the University of Michigan since 2011. John studied abroad in England during both high school and graduate school, and entered the field of international education after pursuing related coursework and practical training while completing a MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs at The Ohio State University. John also held a variety of student affairs positions during his undergraduate years at Middlebury College.
Kaitlin joined the ISSA team in 2015 after spending the last few years living and working in Belgium. She advises international students and scholars, helping them navigate immigration regulations, higher education in the United States, and cross-cultural communication. She takes a proactive approached to advising and is particularly mindful of students’ mental health and well-being.
Scott joined the University of Michigan in 2007, and currently serves as Assistant Director for International Student and Scholar Services in the International Center. Scott has more than 15 years of higher education experience in International Education and Student Affairs. He is an active member and leader in NAFSA: Association of International Educators. As a university student, Scott studied in the United Kingdom twice and traveled throughout Europe.
